Your Visit
What to expect
Consultations are unhurried. Your symptoms are taken in detail, the ears, nose and throat are examined, and endoscopy is used where it adds information.
You will be told what the diagnosis is, what the treatment options are, and what happens if you choose to wait. Prescriptions and investigations are kept to what is genuinely needed.
FAQs
Common questions
What happens at a first ENT consultation?
A detailed history, examination of the ears, nose and throat, and where needed an endoscopic assessment. You will leave with a clear explanation of the diagnosis and the options.
Do children need a separate appointment type?
No. Children are seen in the same clinic, with the examination adapted to their age and comfort, and findings explained to parents.
Will I need surgery?
Most ENT problems are managed medically. Surgery is discussed only when it is the appropriate next step, with the reasons explained.
Should I bring previous reports?
Yes — previous prescriptions, hearing tests, scans and discharge summaries help avoid repeating investigations.
